Velvet Nagaram is an upcoming film that has Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in the lead role, while Ramesh Thilak, Santhosh Krishna, Malavika Sundar and others play crucial supporting roles. It is directed by Manoj Kumar Natarajan, while Achu Rajamani has composed the music.
The makers had released a song titled Chinnanchiru Kiliye on March 25, and it didn't gain enough popularity online. Addressing this, music director Achu Rajamani commented:
Well , it really doesn't matter even if you try to make a fresh song give something new to our audience. If the song doesn't reach then I don't know if am at fault . Who ever heard #chinnanchirukiliye they loved it and I must thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
