The Karnataka government has apparently announced that no movie ticket will cost more than 200rs in Karnataka. This slab price includes for big multiplexes too. Film fans who live in Karnataka would welcome this move by the state government. It must be noted that many multiplexes in Bangalore have variable ticket prices according to the demand. The ticket price used to go up to 600 and sometimes even more.
Moreover, two compulsory screenings of Kannada films during prime times is likely to be made mandatory in all multiplexes across the state.
