One of the films released on OTT during the lockdown was Nayanthara starrer Mookuthi Amman. On the eve of Deepavali last year, the movie was released on Disney Plus + Hotstar.

RJ Balaji's comical performance and the perfect make-up of Nayantara's were well received by the fans. The film was shot as a family story with Nayantara as the protagonist. At the same time, it spread the message against fake preachers.

The film was co-directed by RJ Balaji and NJ Saravanan. This is the first movie that was co-directed by RJ Balaji. The film is scheduled to air on Vijay TV at 11 am on April 14 ahead of Tamil New Year's Day.
