MONTHS AFTER ACCIDENT, YASHIKA POSTS PAINFUL VIDEO OF HER TAKING 'BABY STEPS' TO WALK; LEAVES FANS EMOTIONAL!!

The accident occurred at midnight near Sulerikadu on ECR as they were returning from Mamallapuram to Chennai. She lost her friend Pavani Velicheti as she died on the spot of the mishap. In her first post after she regained consciousness and learnt about her friend's death, she said that she "will be forever guilty to be alive." She also stated that she is really sorry and that she misses her every second.

Earlier in August, in a heartwrenching post, she said that she won't be able to walk or stand for the next five months due to multiple fractures. The 'NOTA' fame actress, who had undergone several surgeries in various parts of her body after the accident, showed the number of stitches she had on her body while replacing the bandages a few weeks back. 

More than three months after her accident, Yashika has now started to walk. Taking to Instagram to post a video of her taking 'baby steps', she wrote, "Baby steps. 95 days of hope , prayers and strong will!! Hope to get back stronger on my feet without any support. Thankyou doctors for taking care of me so well." Many celebrities and fans poured love on the post and extended their prayers for her full recovery. Actress Sanam Shetty, Nisha Ganesh, Aishwarya Dutta and many others asked her to come back stronger.

On the workfront, she has 'Kadamaiyai Sei' where she is acting alongside SJ Suryah. Sivakarthikeyan unveiled the first look poster recently. The movie is written and directed by Venkat Raghavan. She is also making a cameo appearance in Prabhu Deva's psycho-thriller 'Bagheera'.
