Lucifer is a recent Malayalam film that had Mohanlal, Prithviraj, Vivek Oberoi, Tovino Thomas, Manju Warrier and others as a part of it's starcast. It was directed by Prithviraj himself, and written by Murali Gopy. Deepak Dev composed the music for the film, and the cinematography was handled by Sujith Vaassudev.
The latest update on the film is that it has hit the coveted 100 crore mark at the Worldwide Box Office in just 8 days. This was officially announced by Mohanlal on his Twitter page. He tweeted:
"In just 8 days, #Lucifer is in the coveted 100 crores club. This is truly humbling. As a result of your unwavering support, Malayalam Film Industry is being launched into uncharted territories. Well done @PrithviOfficial and Team L!"
Produced by Antony Perumbavoor through the production house Aashirvad Cinemas, the film marks Prithviraj's directorial debut. It also crossed the 50 crore mark in just 4 days. Lucifer released on 28th March 2019.
