Produced by AGS Entertainment, Bigil is shot by 'Mersal' cinematographer G.K. Vishnu while Ruben and Muthuraj handle the editing and art departments respectively.  

The film has been getting amazing support not just from the audience, but also from other celebrities. Director Mohan Raja, who worked with Thalapathy in Velayudham 8 years ago shares a heart-warming wish for this sports-drama in his twitter handle. 

"My best Diwali was the one 8 years ago," he wrote and explained that his Velayudham with Vijay released then. " it’s so obvious how sincerely I wud pray n wish for this wonderful man" he added and wished Vijay for a blockbuster. Check out the tweet, below:
