The cricketer had also proved his mettle as a batsman by chipping in important runs at crucial times.
Recently, Shammi had also bowled the internet over with his version of the the iconic character Shammi (portrayed by Fahadh Faasil) from Kumbalangi Nights. The viral video had Shammi uttering the line 'Shammi Hero da' after smashing a ball in a Table Tennis game.
Directed by Madhu C. Narayanan and scripted by Shyam Pushkaran, Kumbalangi Nights is a celebrated Malayalam drama that also starred Shane Nigam, Soubin Shahir, Anna Ben, Sreenath Bhasi in principal roles.
On the work front, Fahadh Faasil will be next seen playing the role of a motivational speaker in Anwar Rasheed's comeback directorial Trance, which stars Nazriya, Gautham Menon, Chemban Vinod Jose.
