One of the biggest superhit films of the year, Thalapathy Vijay's Mersal reaches its landmark 50th day today! A huge celebration took place this morning at Chennai's Rohini Cinemas as many Vijay fans arrived at the venue for the special screening of the film today.

Amidst the mass and big celebrations, we spotted someone really special who made his appearance at the theatre this morning. It is none other than Mersal's own Ilayathalapathy, the little kid Aakshath, who plays younger Vijay in the film. The boy received appreciations for his performance in Mersal and he has garnered a few fans already!
