Speaking about it, Mekha told TOI, “I know Kannan from before; we’ve worked together in Jayam Kondaan. He recently approached me and said, ‘Mekha, there’s a role in this film. Do it’. I said, okay! That’s it! That’s how I came on board the film."

"I play a maid in the film. I didn’t have to do much prep because it’s a simple, but beautiful role. I did observe my house help to learn a bit about their routine and body language," she said further.

The shooting of the film has been going on in full swing and recently, wedding sequences were canned. The pictures went viral on social media and created quite the flutter.
