Recently, the ace comedian met Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin and handed over a cheque of Rs 5 lakh as his contribution to the COVID-19 relief fund. Talking to reporters after his meet with CM, Vadivelu said that he's been in talks with several people regarding his upcoming films and noted, "Naaladhe nadakum" (Good things will happen).
The 'Imsai Arasan 23 M Pulikesi' actor said that he has taken both the shots of the vaccine and said he's ready to take even 40 more. "Many are complacent and not wearing masks. When instructed to take vaccine, they say they're hale and healthy. But what they don't understand is that the virus affects all people," he added.
Vadivelu heaped praise on MK Stalin's governance and said, "Within one and a half months of coming to power, he managed to control the spread of the COVID-19 virus and made people turn heads. He also made a personal appeal to everyone to take the vaccine, stay at home and protect their loved ones."
