Master is bankrolled by XB Film Creators and features Anirudh's scores for Vijay after Kaththi. The film boasts a stellar ensemble of cast and one of them, actor Pandian, who has worked with Vijay in Mersal and Sarkar had a candid interaction with Behindwoods recently.

Sharing about the experience of working with Vijay, Pandian stated that he has worked with legendary actors like Sivaji Ganesan, Rajini, Kamal and others as a photographer and "Vijay was the only actor who would get up, come up to you, greet you and go back to his place" said Pandian in an impressed tone.

Talking more about the actor, Pandian said that Vijay respects elders very much and gave an example that in a scene, Vijay had to call him 'Yov' and even though it was just a dialogue in a scene, Vijay came to him, asked him whether if it is okay with him and then did that scene.
