The movie has officially gone on floors with the popular Malayalam hero starting shoot in Rameshwaram’s Dhanushkodi. The untitled film has Anjali playing the leading lady and Soori playing the supporting role.
Sharing pictures from the shooting spot, Producer Suresh Kamatchi took to Twitter and said, "Our #VHouseProductions in #ProductionNo7 Started today in Dhanushkodi with all ur blessings." Actress Anjali, who earlier shared screenspace with Mammootty in Ram's last film 'Peranbu', took to Instagram to also share pictures from the pooja ceremoney and said, "With MY RAM SIR again," and added a love emoji.

This is Ram’s second film in a row with a prominent Malayalam star in the lead role. His last directorial outing was 'Peranbu' which was released in the year 2018. The movie showed the struggles of a single parent raising a daughter with special needs. The bilingual marks Nivin’s return to Tamil cinema after a gap of four years. His last film in Tamil was 'Richie', which came out in 2017. The movie was the remake of Kannada hit Ulidavaru Kandanthe.
Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing music for this film and it is being bankrolled by producer Suresh Kamatchi’s V House Productions, which is also producing Simbu’s upcoming film 'Maanaadu'. The title as well as complete details about the cast and crew roped in for the film are yet to be released.
