THE 9 SEMMA SURPRISES: MANI RATNAM’S NAVARASA CAST AND CREW INCLUDES AR RAHMAN, SURIYA, VJS AMONGST OTHERS!

The nine-film anthology, presented by Mani Ratnam and Jayendra Pachapakesan, is based on the nine rasas (emotions) - anger, compassion, courage, disgust, fear, laughter, love, peace and wonder. Now, the makers have officially announced the full cast and crew details of this exciting project.

The anthology will be helmed by the following nine directors - Gautham Vasudev Menon, Karthik Subbaraj, KV Anand, Karthick Naren, Bejoy Nambiar, Ponram, Rathindran Prasad, Halitha Shameem and Arvind Swami (directorial debut).

The exciting part is that this anthology will feature an ensemble of talents like Suriya, Arvind Swami, Vijay Sethupathy, Siddharth, Prakash Raj, Saravanan, Alagam Perumal, Prasanna, Vikranth, Simha, Gautham Karthik, Ashok Selvan, Robo Shankar, Ramesh Thilak, Sananth, Vidhu, Sreeram, Revathy, Nithya Menen, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Aishwarya Rajesh, Poorna and Rythvika.

Apart from the star cast, the crew includes AR Rahman, D Imman, Ghibran, Govind Vasantha amongst others as music directors. Woah, this dreamy cast and crew is sure to make it big! The project which will launch exclusively on Netflix across 190 countries, is an initiative that will raise funds to support those in the cinema industry who have been acutely affected by the COVID-19 crisis.
