1988 TO 2022 - MAMMOOTTY AS CBI SETHURAMA IYER'S LEGACY CONTINUES - CBI 5 TRAILER OUT NOW!

CBI Sethurama Iyer is one of the most recognizable characters in Mammootty's cinematic career. "Oru CBI Diarykurippu", the first installment of the CBI franchise, was released in 1988, written by S. N. Swamy and directed by K. Madhu. The film was well received. Since then, the winning alliance collaborated four times, with Jagratha, Sethurama Iyer CBI and Neriyariyan CBI. The plot of the film is to investigate the various crimes, and it is all headed by CBI Sethurama Iyer (Mammootty). Shyam composed the music for all four films.

This is the fifth time the alliance has reunited. Written by S. N. Swamy and directed by K. Madhu. Jakes Bejoy is currently composing for the fifth part as Shyam has been composing for the last four films. The most popular CBI theme music in other films is also used in this.

The film stars Renji Panicker, Anoop Menon, Saikumar, Soubhin Shahir, Dileesh Pothan, Ramesh Pisharody, Jayakrishnan, Sudev Nair, Aziz Nedumangad, Santosh Keezhathur, Idavela Babu, Kottayam Ramesh, Mukesh Kumar, Krishna, Suresh, Suresh , Malavika Menon, Malavika Nair and Swasika play the lead roles. The film is being produced by Appachan of Swargachitra Productions. Sreekar Prasad handles the editing work. The film is set to release on May 1.

In this case, the trailer of the film has been released on the Internet and is currently gaining attention. The trailer reveals that the film may be a way for Mammootty to come as a CBI officer and solve it with his unique tact when a murder takes place as usual and the police are unable to find it.
