WEDDING BELLS AT VIKRAM'S DIRECTOR'S HOUSEHOLD

Kasi was the 2002 film in which Chiyaan Vikram gave a very detailed and soul touching performance as a blind singer. The movie, directed by Malayalam director Vinayan who is the present Chairman of Horticorp under the Kerala Government's Agriculture Department, won Vikram that year's Filmfare South Best Actor Award.

Today (19th April 2017), the director's daughter Nikhila Vinay got married at Kochi to Nikhil Menon. The groom, who hails from Palakkad is employed by Google and is currently working in the USA. The wedding was attended by many from the film fraternity including Dileep, Indrajith, Siddique, Nyla Usha, Mallika Sukumaran and Ramesh Pisharady.
