When it comes to Public Welfare and Social Commitment, actor-producer-director Sreenivasan stands out as a shining star. He had set an example by supporting agriculture and starting cultivation in his land.
 

Now Sreenivasan has plans to generate electricity by tapping Sun's energy using solar panels that he has set up on his roof. The excess power generated will be fed back into the grid and the Kerala State Electricity board will pay the actor for it. Sreenivasan intends to inspire more people into setting up similar techniques and reducing the load on the state electricity board.
