Actor Simbu is currently awaiting the release of his next film Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven, that is slated for a theatrical release on February 1. The title is inspired from a dialogue from his previous film Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, directed by Mani Ratnam.
Prior to the release, Behindwoods got in touch with actor Mahat, who is playing a cameo in ths film. Speaking to Behindwoods about the film, and his close friend STR, Mahat revealed that he has never seen STR cry, except for once.
"A lot of people cry during breakups, to express their emotions, but Simbu didn't. But, when people trolled him for the video he released during the Kaveri protest, he cried a lot. This was because he uttered each and every line in that video from his heart. He was heartbroken when people didn't take it in the right way.
However, people of Karnataka shared water and I think that is the success of the video,"said Mahat.
On the work front, Mahat is also acting as a lead in a film titled 'Kettavannu Per Edutha Nallavan Da', where he is playing the role of a STR fan.
