The actor has turned director with his upcoming movie Rocketry: The Nambi Effect. This biopic is based on one of the legendary ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan. Rocketry: The Nambi Effect film based on the struggles of Nambi Narayanan. The scientist was falsely charged with espionage and was arrested for the same. Later, the charges against him were dismissed and he was declared not guilty. He had transformed to an amazing look to justify the role he was going to play.
This film is special in many ways, including the return of Simran and Madhavan combo after 15 years and the cameo of Suriya and Shahrukh Khan. The film is multilingual and it is to be released in Tamil, English and Hindi where the Suriya's cameo in Tamil is reprised by Shahrukh Khan in Bollywood.
The latest update on the film is that the shoot has been wrapped and the director had even posted a emotional tweet on the shooting experience.

Madhavan also recently revealed about Game of Thrones actor Ron Donachie and Downton Abbey fame Phyllis Logan, who are now a part of his upcoming film. The expectations on the film is very high and it is expected positively to be delivered by Madhavan.
