“MANY PRODUCERS REJECTED THE SCRIPT FIRST..” - MADDY OPENS UP ABOUT HIS BLOCKBUSTER CLASSIC!

Ashwin, who happens to be a big fan of Maddy also revealed that ‘Minnale’ is one of his all time favourite movies and he knows each dialogue of the movie by heart. He also said the dialogue “Enna Subbuni, innum Galla katla” and Maddy loved Ashwin's narration.

When Ashwin asked about the ‘Minnale’ experience,  Maddy said “It was a magical movie for all of us. You know, for some movies, it just happens automatically. Minnale is one such movie. We had a great time shooting. Gautham Menon was at his best, Harris was at his best and the magic just happened.”

He also revealed that the script was initially rejected by a few producers. He said “At first, many producers rejected the script. Me and Gautham used to go to different producers’ offices wth the script.”

Speaking about ‘Run’, Madhavan said “After doing these romantic movies, I wanted to do a commercial film. When Lingusamy sir told the script, he narrated the scene where I’ll run inside a garage and close the shutter. Only after listening to that scene, I said yes to the movie. I still remember the way he narrated the scene. It was amazing.”

Madhavan is also directing and co-producing the movie ‘Rocketry: The Nambi effect’, where he plays the role of the real-life Rocket scientist Nambi Narayanan. The trailer of the movie released recently and received a huge amount of positive response from the audience. Stay tuned for more updates.
