In a throwback interview, ad filmmaker Manu Kananthanam let it slip that it was created for the movie, as told by Fazil himself.

“I checked the internet to find the author of the book, so that I could use the title for my movie. But I could not find any information, and that is when I contacted Fazil. He told me that the book does not exist and that it was made only to complement the particular scene,” Manu was quoted as saying by TOI.
