Lokesh said that it was a habit of his to take a piece of memorabilia from the sets of the films he works on. However, Vijay was unwilling to part with the bracelet he wears in Master. However, Lokesh somehow ended up beating the Master at his own game by telling Vijay that he would like to borrow the bracelet to see if it fits him as well and coolly didn’t return it to the actor.

He also spoke about how Vijay was of moral support to him when the scenes from Master had leaked before release. “I was very depressed when footage from Master released before the theatrical release. Vijay na told me, “Freeya vidu…We have finished the film. They will have to come to the theatres to watch it. Forget about everything else.”

He also spoke about the relationship Vijay shares with the Assistant Directors on the sets and remarked, “They are like a pet to him.
