Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan shared a heartbreaking message on Instagram on Saturday along with images of himself with the two actors.

The caption reads, “The death of an elder celebrity vs death of a younger…the grief of the latter more intense than that of the former…why? The younger more tragic. Why the loss of the young seems more tragic than that of the older…because you lament the loss of opportunity in the latter…unrealized possibilities”

Amitabh Bachchan has starred alongside Irrfan Khan in Shoojit Sircar’s ‘Piku’ and has shared screen-space with Rishi Kapoor in films such as ‘102 Not Out’, ‘Coolie’, ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’ and ‘Kabhie Kabhie’.

Irrfan Khan was last seen in ‘Angrezi Medium’ directed by Homi Adajania, while Rishi Kapoor’s last on-screen appearance was in ‘The Body’.
