MORE FILMS JOIN BAIRAVAA

Festivals are the times when we see lots of family audiences flocking to the theatre. In that sense Pongal plays a very crucial role especially for the Tamil film industry. Many films eye the Pongal slot as the holidays during the harvest festival season are easily one week. 

Coming to Pongal 2017, initially, there was just Vijay’s Bairavaa which had booked its berth. Later Kaththi Sandai joined the race, but now they have advanced their release date to 23rd December. A couple of days ago, GV Prakash’s Bruce Lee and CV Kumar’s Adhe Kangal also announced their participation in this race.

To add more color to the proceedings, we now have Kreshna's Yakkai, Arun Vijay’s Kuttram 23 and Jai’s Enakku Vaaitha Adimaigal also proclaiming their involvement in this Pongal race.

It is definitely going to be a masala Pongal this year with five films in the fray till now. However, we need to wait for some more time and check out the list of films that finally makes it to the Uzhavar Thirunaal weekend. Stay tuned!
