Actor Ajith is currently awaiting the release of his next film, Nerkonda Paarvai, that is directed by H Vinoth of Theeran Adhigaram Ondru and Sathuranga Vettai fame. The film is produced by Boney Kapoor under the banner Bayview projects LLP.
The actor celebrates his 48th birthday on 1st May, and Behindwoods got in touch with director KS Ravikumar who had directed Ajith in 'Villain' and 'Varalaru'. When asked about working with Ajith in Varalaru, where we saw a feminine side of Thala, he revealed a few interesting details.
"It requires a lot of courage to do that role. In fact, a lot of films have come after Varalaru, where the heroes have portrayed such roles, like Sarathkumar in Kanchana, and Vijay Sethupathi in Super Deluxe... Ajith is the inspiration for all these roles.
He was very involved in the creative process, and also had doubts. He used to ask if people would troll him for this character, but I said even Ajith's enemies won't troll him based on this," said Ravikumar.
