Actor Sivakarthikeyan was last seen in the film Mr. Local, directed by M Rajesh and produced by KE Gnanavel Raja under the banner Studio Green. The film had Nayanthara as the female lead, while Robo Shankar, Sathish, Yogi Babu, Harija, Radikaa Sarathkumar, and others played crucial supporting roles.
Following Mr. Local, the Velaikkaran star will next be seen in an untitled sci-fi film directed by Ravikumar (Indru Netru Naalai fame), followed by films with PS Mithran of 'Irumbuthirai' fame and director Pandiraj. A month and a half back, it was announced that the 17th film of his career will be directed by Vignesh ShivN and produced by Lyca Productions.
Sources close to us have informed that the makers are in talks with MS Dhoni actress Kiara Advani, to play the female lead. The project is said to be a two-heroine film, and the other actress is yet to be finalised. Since the canvas of the film is big, the team is in negotiations with the 'Kabir Singh' lady and also with other Bollywood stars.
Kiara Advani is currently waiting for her next film, the Hindi remake of Arjun Reddy titled 'Kabir Singh', to release. She is acting as Shahid Kapoor's pair in the film directed by Sandeep Vanga, who had also helmed the original. She is also part of Akshay Kumar's 'Laxmmi Bomb' directed by Raghava Lawrence, which is the official Hindi remake of the 2011 Tamil film 'Kanchana.'
