"IT'S TIME TO REACT" - FIRST EMOTIONAL PROMO FROM KHUSHBU'S 'MEERA'!

Several of her films including Chinna Thambi and Singaravelan, are still telecasted at times in TV, and there are many who keeps watching them over and over again.

'Annaatthe' movie

Khushbu has been producing several films along with her husband Sundar C, an actor and director. On the other hand, she is also busy juggling between politics and cinema. Last year, Khushbu starred in the Rajinikanth starrer 'Annaatthe', which was released as a Diwali treat. Next up, the actress will be seen starring in a movie with actor Mohan.

New Serial

The actress has acted in serials like 'Lakshmi Stores' aired on Sun TV and in 'Gokulathil Seethai' aired in Zee Tamil. Following this, actress Khushbu will be seen playing the lead role in a new serial 'Meera' which will be telecasted in Colors Tamil TV. The shooting of this serial kickstarted with pooja a few days ago.

New Promo

The makers have now released a new promo from Meera serial. In it, while her husband and two children are having their meals on the dining table, Meera (Khusbu) says to her husband, "You rarely spend time with us. Half the time, you're on a mobile phone. Can you tell me if there's a problem? Even if there is a problem in the hospital let me know. I'm a doctor too."

Khushbu with tears

The husband responds by saying that he can not share everything with his wife and slaps her in anger after she snatches her husband'd phone.On the ending note, Khushbu can be seen in tears and relates saying that in such similar ways several women unnecessarily are beaten by their husbands and she also says that it is even more wrong to slap infront of the children.

Stand With Meera

Khushbu has used the hashtag #StandwithMeera and asks the audiences to give a missed call to the number that is displayed if they support her. The promo reveals that the serial might be based on a storyline where the husband is against his wife.
