She was last seen in Sarkar that had featured Thalapathy Vijay in the lead. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the film had a monstrous opening at the box office. Post which she will be next seen in Karthik Subbaraj’s upcoming production venture which will be directed and written by Eashvar Karthic.

Jointly produced by Kaarthekeyan Santhanam, Kal Raman, S.Somaseger and Kalyan Subramanian, the film features music by Santhosh Narayanan. While the cinematography will be handled by Kharthik Palani, the cuts of the movie will be handled by Anil Krish.

On the occasion of the actress’ birthday today, the makers are going to treat their fans with the title poster of her next female-centric Tamil film. Rangaraj Madhampatti, the hero in 'Mehendi Circus', will be seen playing an important role. The film has been titled as Penguin. In the new poster, Keerthy can be seen in a silhouette posing as a pregnant lady. She has been described as “aggressive yet gentle, majestic yet modest”. The film is expected to hit the screens on Summer 2020.
