Before his Bigg Boss fame stint, Kavin had featured in movies like Sathriyan and Natpuna Enanu Theriyuma. The actor initially shot to fame through Saravanan Meenakshi serial on Vijay TV in which he played the lead role.

Post Bigg Boss, the actor will be seen playing the lead in his next titled 'Lift'. It is a known fact how the actor is very much close with director Nelson Dilipkumar who is waiting for the release of his upcoming film Doctor. He will be directing Vijay and Pooja Hegde in Thalapathy 65 as well.
