Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra took to Twitter, sharing how shocked and angry she is. Her Tweet read “Reeling from what I am feeling. Absolutely stunned, sad and angry. No human being deserves such brutality whatever be the crime. The guilty must not be allowed to go unpunished. We need facts. I can't even begin to imagine what the family must be going through. Sending strength and prayers. We need to use our collective voices to seek #JusticeForJayarajandBennicks.”

Actor Karthi too, posted an emotional note on his Twitter handle, seeking justice for Jayaraj and Bennicks. His tweet read “This painful incident and the trauma Mr.Jayaraj’s family is going through will be in our conscience and haunt us for a long time. The way this case is going to be handled will demonstrate if it’s the fault of a few individuals or of the whole system!”

Director Lokesh Kanagarj also posted a note, demanding justice for the innocent duo. His Tweet read “கேட்கும்போதே மனது பதறுகிறது.  வலியால் துடித்து இறந்தவருக்கும் அவர் குடும்பத்தினருக்கும் நீதி கிடைக்க வேண்டும்.” (It’s shocking to hear about this issue. Justice should be given for the two innocent people who had a painful death and their family.)
