KARTHIK SUBBARAJ AND HIS KNACK TO SURPRISE!

In spite of creating a National Award winning villain through Jigarthanda, director Karthik Subbaraj always prefers to stay low-key and let the product do all the talking. Having finished his third film Iraivi, sources confirm that the CV Kumar and the Studio Green produced film will have its highly anticipated first look poster by the 6^th of January.

There is also a belief that Iraivi’s teaser will very soon have a release. With the trailer and Santhosh Narayan’s much expected music yet to hit the stores, the rumours about the film having a January 29^th release looks uncertain and the final date is always subject to change.

Touted to be a hard-hitting family drama, Iraivi is a story about three couples belonging to different cultural values. It is to be noted that Karthik Subbaraj has the knack to project a film in one particular manner and then sweep our feet with a whole new unpredictable concept. From the recently released photo, all we can say is that Anjali is playing a Christian and Vijay Sethupathi, her husband in the film looks intense. Sources said, they are a couple living in a hilly area while SJ Surya and Kamalinee Mukherjee portion will belong to a different kind. Bobby Simha and Pooja Devariya will be the current age youth and the contrasting ideas of such livelihood is said to be brought into consideration for the core story.

Barely hours away from the first look release, Iravi is obliged to match our expectations considering the team’s track record.
