Director Karthik Subbaraj’s next starring Prabhu Deva is titled Mercury and the intense teaser released a couple of days ago. The great news for the film’s team is that the teaser that seems to be promising an intriguing experience has crossed 2 million views in two days. Cinematographer S.Thirunavukkarasu’s Twitter post read:
“#MercuryTeaser hits 2 Million views in two days. Thank you everyone for the wonderful response. People who have missed it watch the teaser here. #Mercury April 13th, 2018 worldwide release. #MercuryTeaserHits2MViews @karthiksubbaraj @PDdancing”.

Earlier we had informed you that directors like H Vinoth and Pushkar-Gayathri have narrated their scripts to Ajith and one of them will supposedly be directing Thala's next film after Viswasam.
But now there is a new rumour doing the rounds saying that Ajith would be acting under Prabhu Deva's direction for a film to be produced by KJR Studios.
When we checked with our sources, they denied the news saying it is unlikely to happen in the near future. So, for now, it looks like the front-runners to direct Thala 59 are H Vinoth and Pushkar-Gayathri.
