SUCHI LEAKS CONTROVERSY!! KARTHIK KUMAR'S STATEMENT FOR CLAIMS ON CHINMAYI

Back in April 2017, social media was on fire with the raging Suchi Leaks controversy. The #SuchiLeaks hashtag was all over the place, with very disturbing content hitting the internet.

Some of the tweets that came out of singer Suchitra's account was targeted at singer Chinmayi, who is currently making headlines for crusading the Me Too movement.

The tweets included rumors against Chinmayi that she had aborted a child 4 times, had done sexual compromises for her career, and that there exists an obscene video that features her. Chinmayi had retaliated early on, claiming that none of the information is true. While she awaited an apology and clarification from Suchitra's side, she received an apology e-mail from Karthik Kumar.

When the Me Too controversy surfaced very recently, Chinmayi was once again targeted by many people, in relation to the Suchi Leaks controversy. Almost immediately, Chinmayi made it clear that she wants a public apology and clarification from Karthik Kumar, about the state of mind Suchi was in.

Finally, when another Twitterati brought up the Suchi leaks controversy in a Twitter thread with Chinmayi, Karthik Kumar immediately gave clarity on what happened back in 2017. His tweet read, "These claims were totally without credence and expressed by a person when she wasn’t in full mental health. I stand proof of that and it is an explanation Suchi had tendered through the press as well."

Also, here is Chinmayi's response to Karthik's clarification tweet: "Karthik Kumar, Thank you! I have lived with these stories of the fictitious ‘4 abortions’, ‘adjusting for my career’ and threat of a ‘video’ that doesn’t exist for over a year. I am grateful. It lifts the weight off. Thank you."
