Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsRecently, S.R. Prabhu, chief of the production company Dream Warrior Pictures has tweeted that an update regarding his forthcoming project, the Karthi and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Sulthan, has been delayed due to Coronavirus.
The Coronavirus attack has caused a major dent within film industries all over the world, with shooting schedules and major releases getting postponed. As a precautionary measure, the Kerala Government has advised theatres to be closed till March 31.
In his tweet, SR Prabhu appealed for calm and advised his followers to stay safe, "#CoronaOutbreak is delaying everything including #Sulthan Update! Let’s keep calm and be safe!!". Sulthan marks the second directorial of Bakkiyaraj Kannan, who had previously helmed the romantic comedy Remo, which starred Sivakarthikeyan and Keerthy Suresh as leads.
Recently, Ajay Gnanamuthu also revealed that a schedule of his film Cobra was called off due to coronavirus. Cobra stars Vikram, Srinidhi Shetty, Mirnalini Ravi as leads.
