KANGANA'S THALAIVI NEW LOOK: "NO SPECIAL EFFECTS" UNCANNY RESEMBLANCE TO JAYALALAITHAA IS MIND-BLOWING

Recently, pictures of the actress in Bharatanatyam attire had won hearts just as Arvind Swami's MGR look did. The movie is scheduled for release on June 26, 2020. The latest addition to the cast is Shamna Kasim aka Poorna who is expected to be seen as Sasikala, a close aide of the former CM. 

Bankrolled by Vishnu Induri and Shaailesh R. Singh, Thalaivi a multi-lingual project, releasing in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. It is not known whether they will be more dubbed versions later on. While the cinematography will be handled by Vishal Vittal, music will be composed by GV Prakash Kumar, with the movie being co-written by writer KV Vijayendra Prasad, who threw his weight behind Kangana Ranaut starrer Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi.

As the nation is remembering the Iron Lady’s birth anniversary today, the second look from the makers of Thalaivi is mind-blowing. With no prosthetics and special effects used, Kangana’s younger version of Jayalalithaa is proof how the actress can pull off any role smoothly. Netizens are in awe of this uncanny resemblance.
