His last release was Vishwaroopam II, the sequel to the first part. The first part was set in America, while Vishwaroopam II was staged in India. Written and directed by Kamal Haasan himself, the other actors of the movie included Rahul Bose, Andrea Jeremiah, Pooja Kumar and Shekhar Kapur reprising their roles from the first movie which was released in 2013. Kamal also plays the host of the ongoing reality show on Vijay TV- Bigg Boss Tamil Season 3.

Indian, Kamal Haasan’s 1996 action flick had been a mass entertainer film of all time. The prosthetic makeup of one of dual characters Kamal played in the film was a fine touch, and a point during which the dual roles of Kamal take a stand against each other was dramatized well. The movie was directed by Shankar.
