On Thursday, the actor par excellence, Kamal Haasan’s political party had issued a press release in which it was stated that the actor was to undergo a surgical procedure today on November 22 for the removal of an implant placed in his right leg after he had suffered a compound fracture in July 2016.
Due to the actor’s busy schedule in political and film commitments, there had been a postponement in the removal of the implant. However, upon his doctors’ advice, he was said to be admitted at the hospital for the surgery.
Another press release was issued by the political party which has stated that the actor had undergone the surgery successfully on Friday morning and is taking complete rest and has thanked all his well-wishers for their wishes for a speedy-recovery.
