The storyline revolves around a young woman Vennila, played by Priyanka Kumar, who breaks all odds of society to continue her studies. Just a day before her forced marriage, she ran away from her home to pursue her dream.
Post which, she joins a college run by her professor and mentor Sharada's son Surya. Surya's role is essayed by a well-known serial actor Darshan who has a huge fan following. And we had earlier reported that the actor has quit the show.
As all were wondering who would have replaced this actor next, it has come to light that popular actor Swaminathan Anantharaman will be seen as the new Surya and the episodes featuring the newbie might have started to be aired.
Now, Darshan has for the first time revealed the main reason as to why he could not continue entertaining his fans as Surya. The actor who was juggling between the shoot of his upcoming projects and Kaatrukkenna Veli found it pretty much difficult to manage continuing it that way and finally came up with the decision of quitting the serial.
