EXCLUSIVE: “GOOD NEWS FOR THEGIDI FANS!” - JANANI REVEALS FOR THE FIRST TIME! CHECK IT OUT

In an exclusive Telephonic interview with Behindwoods, Janani opened up about her lockdown activities, her acting career and her upcoming projects.

It is to be noted that Janani played small characters in the movies ‘Thiru Thiru Thuru Thuru’ and ‘Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya’, before becoming a lead actress. Speaking about her career, she said “I was indeed fortunate enough to have an opening in a Bala sir’s movie. The experience was amazing. It has been a great ride, since then.”

Speaking about her career and how she has grown in the industry without a background “It has been a good journey. Earlier, I used to get very upset if I didn't get a particular role or if I miss out on something. I didn’t have someone in the industry to help me out - to teach me about what’s good and what’s not. But as years go by, you learn these things on your own and it is actually very common for everyone in this field, irrespecitve of having a background or not.”

She also gave good news for all ‘Thegidi’ fans. “For all the fans of Thegidi, there’s some good news. Me and Ashok are working together in our next film as everyone's aware and it will have  similar kind of romantic portions. There is a song like ‘Vinmeen’ in this movie and I hope fans shower the same amount of love for this one too. The shooting and the post-production work are over and if not for the lockdown, the movie would have been released by now.”

When asked the most important question that’s been going on in our heads for a long time - ‘Who is Purushothaman Vallabha in Thegidi?’, Janani said “I actually don’t know. (with a laugh) It will definitely be revealed in the second part. Even I am excited for Thegidi 2, but I’m not sure when it will happen”

When asked about her lockdown life, Janani said “Fitness and Yoga, along with my new venture is what is keeping me busy during these #StayatHome times. Me and my sister actually started our online fashion store Hazel Avenue just before the lockdown. I’m just hoping for things to get better soon,” signs of Janani.

Well, it seems like we will have to wait for a while to get an official update on the much awaited ‘Thegidi 2’, as the producer has recently conveyed that the script is in final stages. Stay tuned for more updates.
