IS LADY SUPERSTAR NAYANTHARA ON SOCIAL MEDIA? HERE'S WHAT WE KNOW!

It is known that the Lady Superstar leads a very private life and wishes to remain so. Fans have had their doubts whether Nayanthara is indeed on social media or if she uses a fan account to look through tweets/posts to stay updated. A particular account on Twitter under her name which clearly mentions 'Fan Twitter' in the description, has more than 2.7 million followers including top celebrities. Interestingly, one among the followers is her fiancé Vignesh Shivan himself. Another similar account on Instagram under her name also has lakhs of followers which includes leading actors.

However, Nayanthara, in a recent show on Vijay TV with Anchor DD aka Dhivyadharshini, mentioned that she's not on any social media platforms and that she is a very private person. She added that she cannot share about her life naturally at such platforms. Noting that there are beautiful platforms to express oneself there, Nayanthara said if hate and harshness are avoided, it can become even more beautiful.

Nayanthara is not the only celebrity who's not on social media. Actor Ajith, Music Composer Ilayaraja, Bollywood Actors Ranbir Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and many others are yet to make their social media debut.

Nayanthara was last seen in 'Netrikann', directed by Milind Rau. The movie opened to positive response from audience and critics. She has also completed shooting for 'Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal' directed by Vignesh Shivan. The movie stars Vijay Sethupathi, Samantha and Nayanthara in prominent roles.
