Thalapathy Vijay meets his fans in a regular interval whenever he finds the time. Recently, he met a set of fans in Chennai who came all the way from Kerala. A fan named Saranya Visakh who met Vijay last week during this fans meet took to her Facebook space to share a post on why she is a huge fan of Vijay. Her post has gone viral on all the social platforms.

Her FB post with rough English translation below:

"ഓർമ്മ വച്ച കാലം മുതൽ മനസ്സിൽ പതിഞ്ഞ മുഖം. പലപ്പോഴും വിചാരിക്കും നേരിൽ കാണാനോ.. സംസാരിക്കാനോ എനിക്ക് സാധിക്കില്ല. ഇല്ലെങ്കിലും മരണം വരെ അണ്ണനെ പോലെ മറ്റാരോടും എനിക്ക് ആരാധന തോന്നില്ല. ഒരുപാട് കളിയാക്കലുകളും പരിഹാസങ്ങളും കേട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്. വിജയ് പ്രാന്തി നിനക്ക് അടുത്ത് നിന്നല്ല ദൂരെ നിന്ന് പോലും വിജയ് യെ കാണാൻ കഴിയില്ലെന്ന്. അവരോട് ആയിട്ടുള്ള മറുപടി ആണിത്.അണ്ണൻ പറഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ട്,, "Namukkana train varonanna nam konja neram platformile wait panni than aakanam " വർഷങ്ങളായി കാത്തിരുന്നു കണ്ടു. കാണാൻ കഴിയാത്ത അണ്ണന്റെ എല്ലാ ആരാധകർക്കും ആ ഭാഗ്യം കിട്ടും. അണ്ണനെ ഇഷ്ടപെടുന്നവർ അണ്ണന്റെ വാക്കും കേൾക്കും.

Roughly translated:

"From as long as I can remember, his face (Vijay) has been imprinted in my heart. I used to think that meeting him or talking to him will never happen. But I like him more than anybody and I don't think I will like anybody else more than annan. Many people have constantly mocked me for being a Vijay fan and have also teased me that I will never meet Vijay anna. I now have an answer to all them. Annan (Vijay) used to say that we need to wait in the platform for some time to board the train that is meant for us. I finally found my train.

I was stuck for a minute when I finally saw him. I asked him if I could touch his hand,  he smiled and shook my hands. He then asked me to smile for the camera. I then told him, 'advance birthday wishes anna' and he replied saying 'romba nandri maa, kandipa saptu ponga.' How sweet of him to say that. The dream of my life comes true."
