The news shocked fans of the Singer who took to the comments section to ask why he took the decision and mentioned that he was the reason behind many watching the show. For the unversed, Benny Dayal is one among the judges in the current season of the show - Super Singer Season 8, a reality singing show that airs on Vijay TV every weekend.

Although he didn't mention the reason for his decision, it is suspected that it is because of a contestant's recent elimination that drew a lot of flak, both for the judges and for the network. Sridhar Sena, who was one of the popular contestants, was eliminated last week and fans took to social media to express their disappointment on the same. The judges of the show faced backlash from fans regarding the same, but a section of them also defended their move.
