"LOT OF CRITICISM... I'M STILL PAINED...!" - 'COOK WITH COMALI' SUNITA OPENS UP ABOUT HER PAINFUL LIFE JOURNEY!

Before the show took off, she entered the TV industry and hit the spotlight with the TV show 'Dancing Superstars' where she was a judge. But she reached her peak when 'Cooku with Comali' took off. Her sense of humour, cute expressions and even her mistakes in tamil are loved and celebrated.

Talking about her journey in an exclusive interview, she said that she used to receive a lot of criticism about her looks, the way she talks and where she comes from. But she says it was all worth it. "I enjoyed being a judge in 'Dancing Superstars' because it was the result of many years of struggle and hard work. My mom felt really happy looking at the episodes"

"When everyone asked me to learn the language, I was hesitant, but now everyone has started liking it. Even if I make mistakes, I talk in tamil," she says, explaining how she learnt the language while in the state.

When asked about her interest in acting in movies, she says, "I do have the wish to come on the big screen. My parents waited a long time to see me on screen. I understand that feeling...of parents wishing their children grow up and feel proud of them. I can feel their pain. They will encourage me from Assam, but I don't see any opportunity in front of my eyes."

She had played a small role in Dhanush-starrer '3' movie and in 'Kanchana' (2011) by Raghava Lawrence.
