Pavni was also given the authority to appoint an assistant and she immediately chose Thamarai Selvi. She asked her to give tasks for housemates who would like to enter or pass through the living room area. The day also saw the captaincy task taking place inside the house. Accordingly, the blue team who won in last week's 'Shenbagame Shenbagame' task were given the chance to compete as the captain. The faces attached to a pot like a scarescrow and the orange team members had a chance to break a pot which has the contestant whom they would not like to see as a captain.

At the end of the game, Abhinay was nominated as the captain and Bigg Boss asked Pavni, Niroop and Isaivani to step forward to ask them if they'd like to use their coin's power to nominate themselves as the captain. Isaivani stepped forward and said that she'd like to be the captain, after which she was made the captain of the house for this week. 

After the captaincy task, Bigg Boss announced that the nominations for this week's eviction process would take place. While a few routine names like Akshara Reddy, Pavni and Imman Annachi were said in the confession room, Raju Jeyamohan also got a strong number of votes for eviction from several housemates including Priyanka, Pavni, Niroop, Abhinay, among others.

At the end of the process, Raju, Akshara, Imman Annachi, Ciby, Abhinay, Pavni and Mathumitha were chosen for eviction from Bigg Boss house. Since Pavni had the power of her 'Aagayam' coin this week, Bigg Boss asked if she'd like to swap her name with someone else who wasn't nominated and she said that she didn't want to use the power.
