Valimai marks the actor-director duo's second project under Boney Kapoor's Bayview Projects LLP banner post the 2019 courtroom drama Nerkonda Paarvai. The film has also retained the music director Yuvan Shankar Raja and DOP Nirav Shah for this upcoming flick.

Yuvan Shankar had been sharing mass updates from the film and during a Clubhouse talk, he had shared that the first INTRO song from the film will be stunning as ever and is expected to be of a folk genre and a mother-sentiment song can also be expected in the film.

It is being speculated that the first look along with a motion poster would be unveiled on July 15, however an official update for the same is awaited. Meanwhile, our reliable sources have revealed that the team is planning to fly to Hyderabad for its next schedule (not a long one but patch shoot) from July 13. It is not sure if Thala Ajith also would be joining the team for this schedule. Stay tuned!
