After the critically and commercially successful Pariyerum Perumal, director Mari Selvaraj has joined hands with Dhanush for his forthcoming directorial titled 'Karnan'. Apart from the lead, the film also has 'June' actress Rajisha Vijayan, Lal, Lakshmipriyaa Chandramouli, Yogi Babu in principal roles.

The makers had shot an extensive portion of the movie in Tirunelveli. As mentioned earlier, actor Lal is playing a key role in the film. He had taken to his social media and shared the character names of Dhanush and his as Karnan and Yemen respectively.

With today, July 28 marking Dhanush's birthday, the makers of Karnan had released a special making video - unbelievable is the word - Meticulous planning and exquisite execution has rendered the film and its visuals mindblowing and this video shows us glimpses of the same. Watch it now!

Karnan is produced by Kalaippuli S. Thanu of V Creations. Dhanush was last seen in the Pongal release 'Pattas', an action film directed by RS Durai Senthilkumar. The actor also has Karthik Subbaraj's 'Jagame Thanthiram', D43 with Karthick Naren, Atrangi Re in Hindi, amongst many others.
