The film is bankrolled by Kalaimagan of Skyman Films, the production house behind the upcoming Bigg Boss Tamil fame Mugen-starrer, 'Velan'. The project will also feature Gayathrie as the film lead. Interestingly, she's also playing a pivotal role in another upcoming Seenu Ramasamy film titled 'Mamanithan' starring Vijay Sethupathi.

For the unversed, director Seenu Ramasamy is known for films like 'Thenmerku Paruvakaatru', 'Neerparavai', 'Dharma Durai' and 'Kanne Kalaimaane'. Meanwhile GV Prakash is awaiting the release of 'Ayngaran' and has 'Jail', '4G', 'Kadhalikka Yarumillai', 'Bachelor', 'Aayiram Jenmangal', and 'Adangathey' in the pipeline.
