GV Prakash, who was last seen in ‘Sarvam Thaala Mayam’ is currently awaiting the release of his next film ‘Kuppathu Raja’ and will also be seen in ‘Watchman’, which will be hitting the screens a week later. Meanwhile, the musician turned actor will be seen donning the music director’s hat in films such as ‘Asuran’, ‘Jail’ and ‘Suriya 38’.
In an exclusive interview with Behindwoods, he shared some interesting details on his current projects, the late love for ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’ and his fall-out with Dhanush. GV said “Aayirathil Oruvan was a special film for all of us. We worked really hard for it. Although I’m happy that it is being celebrated by all now, there’s a small feeling of disappointment that the film did not get the reception it deserves, back then.”
In his next film ‘Jail’, Dhanush has sung a crucial song. Speaking about the song and the fall-out with Dhanush, GVP said “When two energies are there, creative differences will definitely arise. Time heals everything, and let’s just leave it at that. The good news for the fans is that the combo is back.”
‘Kuppathu Raja’, is all set to hit the screens on the 5th of April, while ‘Watchman’ will have it’s release on the 12th. Post these films, GV Prakash will be seen playing the lead in films such as ‘Jail’, ‘100 % Kadhal’ and ‘4G’.
