Behindwoods Gold Medals 6th edition was celebrated to commemorate the 15th year anniversary of Behindwoods. Among the long list of stars who marked their presence in the event was Mirchi Shiva aka Akila Ulaga Superstar. He was conferred with a Jury’s Special Mention Medal for his performance in Tamil Padam 2.
In his speech, he said,”Usually when someone gets an award for a movie, they thank their producer, director and all but if I have to thank people for thuis movie, i have to thank every producer, director, technician who has worked in Tamil cinema ever.” He added,”I must thank my producer from Y Not Sashikanth, director C.S.Amudhan because it is easy to make a new movie, it is tough make a new movie from old ones.”
The poster of Tamil Padam 2 that went viral was the one where he was seen meditating. When asked about that he said,”Meditation is good for health and because it is good to meditate in the beach.”
