SARKAR BOX OFFICE - "NO COMPLAINTS"

After the release of Thalapathy Vijay's Sarkar, the controversies surrounding the film have increased the existing hype for it. It released on Diwali (November 6) and completes its first week today.

The film is directed by AR Murugadoss, produced by Sun Pictures and has music by AR Rahman. While Keerthy Suresh, Varalaxmi, Pala Karuppiah, and Radha Ravi play other important roles.

It has been performing exceedingly well at the box office in its first week, and we contacted Ruban, the Managing Director of GK Cinemas, Chennai to talk about its performance.

He said, "It has been good for us, we have no complaints about it. However, had it released on Friday (Nov 2), it might have worked better since Monday was also a holiday. We saw a dip on Thursday and Friday. In fact, today (Monday) there has been a huge drop in footfalls."
