Gayathri Raguramm is a popular dance choreographer, who is an integral part of the film industry. She recently choreographed a song for Hansika's 50th film Maha, that also had STR in it. The film is directed by UR Jameel, and produced by Mathiyalagan under the banner Etcetera Entertainment.
Gayathri also took part in the first season of Bigg Boss that was hosted by Kamal. The season was won by Arav. However she became quite popular after the show.
Since yesterday, the hashtag #PrayforNesamani has been trending on Twitter worldwide, and the dancer took to her Twitter handle to criticise the people for making it viral. Her tweet read:
"There r so many important things to talk about than trending nesamani. River issues, rape and development and job and farmers. We r stooping so low by such waste hashtags"
She further went on to tweet continuously against the viral hashtag with statements like:
"If u think ur doing this against Modi ji. It’s dumb idea. It’s just putting us down and behave like idiots. People all over the world will think we have no brains. First of all most of this scene fans dint get the joke and why is this going around. So stupid."
